From mixers to major appliances, Kitchenaid is the industry standard.
Mixers are seen in most shows about food, not because they look good (well maybe) but because they are the work horse behind american kitcehn appliances. We beleive they set the industry standard. My brother, being a chef for over 25 years recommends KitchenAid products in his restaurants.
A few years ago, KitchenAid came out with a brand new line of appliances under a new division. This line was apply named the "Pro Line". What really jolted my jollies about these lines, was that this line was geared to the avid coffee drinker. Kitchenaid's division in St Joseph Missouri is the think-tank per say for new lines, and we want to thank them for their obvious nod to the world of coffee!
The Pro Line rolled out a tone of coffee machines, espresso machines and also the new Pro Line Coffee Grinders. Can you say "Fresh Ground Latte's" at home? I can, and I do, every single morning!
As the 1919 founded company has seen, coffee is a big drink around the world, and with the addition of coffee shops and Starbucks in the states, it was not hard to figure out the world needs good, at home coffee grinders, and Kitchenaid has some really neat ones!

From the one of a kind decor (like their 1919 mixer) to a hand held coffee grinder, the Pro Line of Kitchenaid coffee grinders are some of the best priced, and longest lasting on the market!
On a personal note, I am glad a major appliance, and restaurant company to the initiative to bring the possibilities of freshly ground coffee to homes with their selection. I knew Kitchenaids new line would be amazing, and I based it solely on the mixer we have had, almost as a family heirloom, and its been around since 1954, and it still runs! So it only makes sense, that their coffee grinders, pro line series of espresso and coffee machines would be in the same category: "outstanding"
For the consumer, I am here to tell you that the Pro Line Series of the KitchenAid coffee products is going to beat out anything you can find. Add the retro look on some of the more expensive line, and you have not only a great grinder, or coffee machine, but nice kitchen decor (even in retro red).
To be critical of KitchenAid's new Pro Line and to be fair to the roughest critic, you may find some of the plastic parts a bit shaky, and not really sturdy, but they fit the areas on the machines and grinder well. That is all I can really find on the "con" side of the Pro Line. But like anything today, we find that plastic is the key to most smaller appliances. I imagine they save money for the company, to sell it cheaper to the consumer, but I admit, I miss the good ole days of all metal and no plastic.
All in all , the pro line series of coffee products from KitchenAid are outstanding and we at this website give them all a combined score of "A" !
